Prizes The game is won by whoever plays all their tiles first, who will then collect all the points from their opponents' remaining tiles, although there are other ways for the game to end: It might occur that none of the players can put down a tile, in which case the game is blocked and the players count up the points of their remaining tiles and the player with the fewest points wins. Because the 'double-blank' tile equals zero points, it may occur that one of the players will lay down all their tiles and another will be left with the 'double-blank' tile. In this case, the game is considered a draw, and the victory is given to the player who had started the game. This may also occur when two players end the game with the same number of points, in which the case the player whose 'hand' it was would be the winner, or the player nearest that person. FAQ === (1) How can I lay down my hand? Tapping the green check mark icon or red x icon will end the current hand. The check mark appears when you have enough points to meet your bid. The x appears when you can no longer make your bid. (2) How do I display the hidden played dominoes on 2 mark bids? Within the trick dialog, tapping any domino or hidden trick icon will display all played dominoes. (3) Can I undo a bid or trump selection? If you are the high bidder, an undo icon appears. Tapping the icon will undo the last bid, trump, or contract selection. (4) Why is a bid yellow? A yellow bid indicates a forced bid. (5) What are the different AI play styles? Conservative: Only bids above 30 with really strong hands. Normal: Bids on a mix of hands. More likely to bid 31-35. Aggressive: Bids on most any hand if there is a chance to make it. Once play starts, the three variants generally follow the same strategies. Well one it's ok for playing around when your bored but partner even on aggressive does not know how to play, for example opponent on my right leads out with blank 6 I play 6-5 which easily catches the trick, partner plays double six to catch it with opponent bidding 32 and then you find out after partner catches with double six throws out 6-4 then opponent trumps it. The way this should have played my partner should have seen I had blank 6 caught with 6-5 and laid 6-4 for the set, this happens so often it's pathetic and it's not just this play it's all of them, partner needs to be more aware I guess, the partner over bidding you and instantly getting set first throw out, crazy stupid. For example of this I had a good 2 mark hand and partner bid 3 marks laid out trump and not have the double but laid out smallest trump, why I have no ideal it's just frustrating. Updated still same as above, I even changed partner to aggressive made his stupid really stupid. Partner sucks and so do the majority of the hands. Why can't you choose your own partner? On top of that, I get the same hand 2 times in a row during game play. The game could be so much better if you make it live and choose a partner who knows how to play 42. My partners name is Stupid Partner, too bad it won't spell the whole name. The partner sets us 99.9% of the time. 1 star, 0 if I could till we can choose a partner. Don't believe anyone with 2 stars and above. Update 2/1/17, the game still sucks, still all of the above and it cheats. No way is the opponent supposed to know your hand, but it does. My stupid partner got a lot stupider after the last update. This is a toilet game, and the developers were on the toilet when they created it. Update 6/30/17, nothing new, still sucks, still playing and my partner is now incompetent. Its still amazing that I can still get the same exact dominoes 2 hands in a row which really suck. Other than that its still free and still great for toilet time. Update 11/05/17, well, I have had enough of this cheating game. Partner has cashed in and cheater 1 and 2 always know what you have. It's obvious who created this doesn't have a clue how 42 works. If you play it for as much and long as I have then you will know what I'm talking about. It's time to say goodbye and uninstall and see if I can find another 42 toilet game that doesn't cheat. The only plus side to this game is it doesn't have ads. I was jonesin' for some 42, so I was really glad to find this app. I'm used to Oregon 42 which has more bidding options (like reverse bidding) and a complicated set of bidding conventions to tell your partner about your hand. It would be great to see these make into this app. Also, for multimark bids, there is 'count as trump', which is a fun twist. And, yes, a multi-player version would be fun too. To those who think the AI cheats. I admit tbe AI js hard to beat but I've done it. The challenge makes us better players. So I'm not sure if the new updates broke everything. But my version is perfect. The partner us the best computer I have ever played with. Again I'm running an old version but he plays trumps in correct order and I never have issues with the score being incorrect. But seriously, one game I splashed and I through down the 5-5 on one of my partners trumps so he passed it to me with a 5-1 knowing I had the 5-6 (why else would I throw a 5-5 early in the game unless I had the next highest domino). Not sure if it was strategy or luck but my computer is one of the best I've seen on 42 apps. Maybe they are dumbing him down so they could sell a 'smart partner' or something.
